The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is an annual award given to groups in the United Kingdom for outstanding achievement in the voluntary sector.
To mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee a special commemorative Jubilee Medal has been created. This has been awarded to 35 of our members have been awarded this medal for 5 years of qualifying service.
Way you can fundraise for us
You can do anything to fundraise for us as long as it is legal and appropriate.
There are many ways you can fundraise for us:
- Sponsored activities e.g. Walk, Run, Cycle, Climb a Mountain
- Run an event e.g. Coffee Morning, Fete, Summer Party
- Make one of your regular activities in aid of us e.g. Bowls, Quiz Night, Wine & Wisdom, Street Parade
