Kent Mark Benevolent Fund donation

Kent Search and Rescue (KSAR) is much more than the 100 or so members that make up the operational team, without donors and supporters, we simply would not exist.
The Kent Mark Benevolent Fund recently provided the team with a grant to help boost and replace some of our ageing equipment. The donation of three new drones will make a huge difference, allowing our drone pilots to fly for longer, covering a larger area, all in greater detail. Increasing the likelihood of finding high risk missing people.
Steve Gore, KSAR’s Air Search Lead said “We are pleased to announce a major upgrade in the form of a DJI M4TD and two DJI Lito X1’s. The M4TD gives us an extra 13mins of flight time, full colour night mode, augmented reality overlay and AI integration to assist in object detection.
The compact nature of the LitoX1 allows the rapid deployment of a drone to clear area that are inaccessible or pose a risk to searchers.”
