Mourning the loss of ex-member Matthew Hurley
Tragically on Tuesday 26th January, an ex-member, 39-year-old Matthew Hurley was taken ill whilst at work, he was airlifted to Adenbrook Hospital where he was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage. He never recovered and died a few days later. He leaves behind 2 beautiful young children, his wonderful girlfriend Becky and his caring mother Linda.
Matthew was a great member for a number of years who gave freely of as much of his spare time he could spare to train, fundraise and attend searches.
The team have been devastated by this loss and cannot easily find the words to express their deepest condolences to his loved ones, family and friends.
We thought it was only fitting that we launched a new assistance fund named in his memory.
