As soon as possible after acceptance, once a member has completed a basic search course and obtained a First Aid qualification, they will become operational and available to attend searches.

Regular meetings and training sessions for the whole group are held in our central location in Maidstone and also occasionally in Herne Bay. Evening sessions include outdoor exercises and we hold several weekend training exercises per year. Members are expected to attend at least 50% of training sessions to remain operational.
