Kent Search and Rescue passes 10,000 man hours of operational time
This Certificate of Merit was awarded to Kent Search and Rescue at a ceremony held at Tonbridge Police Station on Friday 8th September. Chief Superintendent Mark Salisbury awarded KSAR the Certificate in recognition of their positive responses to Kent Police requests for assistance in searching for vulnerable missing persons in West Kent.

It recognises that the group has been instrumental in the saving of many lives in the past year.

The citation continued in recognising the role KSAR volunteers played in the search for an outstanding vulnerable missing person on Saturday 29th April this year, their work resulted in Police resources being targeted towards focused areas and enabled specialist Police teams to recover the victim and thereby reduce the anxiety of the victim's family.
