Kent Search & Rescue (Lowland) affirm their policy that all activities are conducted to protect the environment in so much as is reasonably practical. All members will respect the rights of the landowners. Kent Search and Rescue (Lowland) will work closely with local and government agencies, including but not specific to Kent Wildlife Trust, The Environment Agency, The Coastguard, in those areas where there is a classification of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty / Area of Special Scientific Interest local to the search areas defined by the Police. Advice will be sought prior to access into these areas should it be required.

Where possible KSAR will report to the appropriate body any incidents of fly tipping, land contamination by oil or chemicals being dumped, pollution of any rivers and water courses that may form part of or border a search area.
